Young Hearts Africa’s ultimate goal is to help preserve Africa’s most precious commodity, her children, by facilitating access to life saving heart operations for every child in Africa and, in so doing, ultimately eradicate preventable deaths that currently lead to such heartache and sorrow.
It is our Mission to create global awareness of the dire need for specialised cardiac healthcare services among children in Africa. To develop the Young Hearts Africa Foundation into a dynamic, successful fundraising vehicle. This will be achieved by donating the proceeds from the sale of music productions, involving local and major international artists, as well as public funding initiatives, toward surgical programs to achieve the ultimate goal of facilitating lifesaving heart surgery for 1000 additional patients a year over the next 5 years.
