Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre

WetNose Animal Rescue Centre is a RIGHT TO LIFE animal shelter. This means no healthy animal is ever put to sleep. Abused, abandoned and neglected animals are rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed. They stay with us until a “Forever Home” is found for them - no matter how long it takes. All animals are handled with dignity and respect. We ensure that all animals are, de-wormed, vaccinated, sterilized and micro- chipped. Our animals get exercised and played with daily by staff and volunteers.

WetNose is a place of safety for over 500 abused, abandoned and neglected animals that need rehabilitation and re-homing. Our monthly expenses to care for our animals is R 360 000. This includes food, medical care, housing (kennels), cleaning, rates & taxes, etc. This is done purely on donations from the animal loving public. We receive no municipal or government funding.
