Wallace Anderson was founded to provide a home for its quadriplegic residents, where they can thrive and take responsibility for their own futures. Hence, all the day to day running of the home is managed by its disabled residents, with the help of able-bodied employees. Fundraising is also managed by the residents themselves, and projects include two fully fledged businesses managed and partially staffed by the residents: a Plastic retail business and a Printing & Signwriting business. These projects, however, do not provide for all the financial needs, and because there is no subsidy to fall back on, we are also very dependant on donations received from the public.
