Vezokuhle Youth Development Project

VYDP has used the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP), Community Works Programme (CWP), Department of Correctional Services, Department of Public Works and other governmental and private departments, as a driving tool and mechanism in addressing unbearable social ills such as poverty, unemployment, lack of skills, inequality, HIV/AIDS, drug and substance abuse, whereby we have employed facilitators who work at grass-root level in initiating the below skills programmes and unit standards to unemployed youth (2000) who have contact with them at local schools, health clinics and other public benefit institutions.
