Tshwane Hub

Tshwane Hub is part of the Global Shapers Community. Shapers are organised in a network of local hubs based in each major city around the world. They undertake projects and events that generate a positive impact within their local community. In Tshwane, we’re working towards establishing and strengthening relationships with other Tshwane change makers to address the city challenges. The community is vitalised by the various interactions generated inside each hub, between hubs and on a global level. Complementing face-to-face meetings, emphasis is also placed on the virtual dimension – enabling shapers to collaborate and learn from each other through the community platform.
The Tshwane Hub together with other city stakeholders, the Global Shaper Community and the World Economic Forum work together to gain insights that will inform the projects that we implement and the impact areas that we focus on.
Global Shapers deliver impact by catalysing and enhancing, individually and collectively, fresh ideas and entrepreneurial solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Shapers also get involved in cross-mentoring with other World Economic Forum communities.
