So as most of you may know, I will be running my first half marathon (21kms) in three weeks time on the 29th October. In light of this, I have decided to run in support of a foundation close to my heart. 5 years ago I lost a dear friend to the battle of cancer. Kimberly Rose Asher was the bravest and most courageous young girl who truly fought until the very end. Since her passing, her brother Justin Asherhas built up a foundation in her memory. The Kimberly Rose Cancer Foundation is an organization which aims to create awareness around complementary medical treatments found in other countries to support treatments offered in SA as well as to raise funds to assist oncologists and doctors alike in South Africa with fighting cancer by importing technology, otherwise normally too expensive and unaffordable.
I would like to reach out to all of my friends and family across the world to try and help me support this incredible organization. Any donation would mean so much to me! The options to donate can be found on this link however if you would like to donate any other amount please feel free to inbox me privately!
My goal is to try and raise R10500 (R500 per km) but anything would be greatly appreciated! If you would like to find out more please feel free to contact me or justin!
