Objectives of the Breede Centre are:
Objective 1: To facilitate and safeguard childhood.
To offer Early Childhood Development programmes indicating age appropriate emotional, mental, spiritual, moral, physical and social care and development including but not limited to training and parent development.
To offer Afterschool programmes (0 to 18 years) indicating emotional, mental, spiritual, moral, physical and social care and development of children including but not limited to training and parent development.
To offer recreational and developmental Youth Programmes (18 and older).
Objective 2: To facilitate structured skill training.
To offer structured skills training in a variety of fields including but not limited to Building crafts, Handicraft, Hospitality and Horticulture (15 years and older)
To offer a wide variety of Life skills training including but not limited to Entrepreneurship, Computers skills, Customers services and Financial skills
Objective 3: To carry out and manage income generating projects.
To manage income generating Social enterprises to supplement the income for the centre and to be used to teach business skills to trainees
To assist with self-employment and employment through home industries, small businesses, and job application training and assistance.
Objective 4: To develop the capacity and standards of the Breede Centre.
To conduct staff development through in-house and other training
To do staff interviews on a regular basis to establish needs and aspirations, and assist with meeting those wherever possible.
To establish and maintain structures and standards in line with Business practices to ensure good governance.
