Solitaire Safe Haven

Solitaire Safe Haven was founded in February 2022 by a mother and daughter team, Janine and Macayla Blignaut who felt the desperate need to help abandoned, neglected and mistreated horses and to be their voices and guardians, as they unable to do it themselves. Macayla is a CEEPSA registered, qualified equine practitioner and runs a stable yard and gives horse riding lessons in Hermanus and Janine has a passion for caring and nurturing people and animals. We are based on our farm in Tesselaarsdal, Caledon. Solitaire Safe Haven was entered into the NPO register on 12 April 2022. Our motto is : "Saving one horse won't change the world, but it will change the world for that one horse"
We rely solely on donations eg medicine, building materials, fencing, feed, roughage, haynets, halters, blankets, vet bills etc. Donations and fundraising for NPO
