Sisanda FunDaytion

Sisanda FunDaytion was founded in 2009 with the vision of a world in which all children can experience the joy of being children and with the main driver being that of creating opportunities for vulnerable children to realise their potential through inspirational, memorable and fun experiences. It is quite common that children from Children’s Homes and Township communities miss out on these opportunities mainly due to the lack of resources within these communities.

Our objectives are to; 1. Provide vulnerable children opportunities, through recreation, to learn, laugh, be inspired and connect with others in situations that are ordinarily inaccessible to them and 2. To offer adults from diverse backgrounds Fun and accessible volunteer experiences which encourage active citizenship.

We organise and run recreational activities which include; a full high-impact Sisanda Fun Day outing or a Sisanda Circle or even a combination of the two for a group of children.
