Siphakeme

Maximum growth of a human brain is in the first six years of life. To maximize this development children require stimulation and teaching. Many young children from lower economic families do not have optimal pre-school learning and many of these pre-schools do not have skilled, trained teachers. Each pre-school teacher trained will impact on the development of 20 to 30 children each year.

Siphakeme offers two courses -

• Further Education and Training, Early Childhood Development, Level 4 – registered with South African Qualifications Authority. Part-time course with weekly contact sessions with qualified, experienced facilitators over 2 years. Career orientated training for Grade RR and R teachers
• Educare – Part-time practical training on how to present lessons, rings and other activities relevant to the child’s developmental stage. Twice monthly contact sessions over 1 year.
