SACEF

The South African Community Empowerment Foundation (SACEF) is a registered non-profit social development agency with 25 years’ experience in various community development projects.

SACEF started life as the Women’s Outreach Foundation in 1992. Apart from its initial name, our Foundation next operated as the South African Women’s Empowerment Foundation from March 1999 to January 2014, before transforming into its current format. The name changes over the years were each brought about to better describe the Foundation’s expanding focus.

Currently, the Foundation has been exploring ways to continue putting its experience and resources to good use for the benefit of disadvantaged communities. We maintain extensive networking links and assist other NGOs with their social development projects whenever possible.
