Rhema Children's Village

Rhema Service Foundation known as Rhema Children’s Village is a registered Non-Profit- Organization which focuses on offering a safe environment for abused, abandoned, destitute, neglected and severely impoverished children from all walks of lives in Johannesburg inner-city and surrounding areas. The children are stabilized, schooling is initiated (or continued), and sport and recreation facilities are offered in the hope of inspiring them to overcome their past experiences and to develop them into responsible and happy adults.

All children at the Rhema Children’s Home are referred by different Child Protection agencies e.g. NGO`s and the Department of Social Development where they can have access to social support, healthcare, education and recreation. Rhema Service Foundation was founded in 1986 with the slogan:

“Changing our nation, one child at a time”.
