Radio Overberg is the Radio station for the Overberg We broadcast to, Napier,
Struisbaai, Waenhuiskrans, Elim, Riviersonderend and also parts of Caledon and
Swellendam.
We are constantly upgrading our signal and distribution should improve and expand
significantly over the next year.
Radio Overberg has applied for an amendment of our license to include towns such
as Agulhas, Caledon, Swellendam, Heidelberg, Robertson, Ashton, Bonnievale and
possible Hermanus.
We currently have 38 000 people in our transmission area of which, based on the
latest RAMS figures, include 22 000 listeners.
We are a professional and proudly Overberg team. Our management includes a
station manager, program coordinator and two technicians. We have 38 dedicated
passionate volunteers from the local community who broadcast to listeners as far
afield as China and the US via internet.

Radio Overberg primarily broadcasts in Afrikaans with English alternatively Our
demography, according to census 2011, indicates 83% Afrikaans and 5% English
speaking inhabitants in our reception area. The language ratio as per our license at
the radio is 70% Afrikaans and 30% English.
