Pigs n Paws

Pigs ’n’ Paws is a non-profit company situated a few kilometers outside of Cullinan, South Africa. We rescue pigs who have been abused, exploited, or discarded. We offer all our pigs love, respect and rehabilitation when needed. We find loving homes for the pigs that are adoptable and offer lifetime refuge and sanctum to those who stay.

We are currently the largest pig sanctuary in South Africa being home to more than 300 pigs (05 October 2021) of all shapes and sizes, as well as 3 cows and a good number of dogs. We aim to educate the public about pigs and their choices regarding these sentient beings as well as work with and advise pig owners on how best to look after their pigs to ensure a long, loving, and successful mutual companionship.

Our sanctuary is funded by:
1) Monthly/once-off donations from the public
2) Monthly sponsorship of pigs by the public
3) The "abillion" app that allows people to review and then donate $1 for every review to a charity
