At Phyllis Robertson Home we provide 24/7 for 67 disabled permanent residents and some daily visitors. With 63 private rooms and two shared rooms, the Home allows residents to be as independent as possible, while being in a safe and secure environment.
The Home cares for adults between the ages of 18 to 80 years. There are 41 full-time staff members including a registered nurse, staff nurses and care workers.
We do all this without the support of government and every penny spent is from residents' fees or fundraising. This private facility provides more than accommodation, food and cleaning services, this is the only home for many of the residents who no longer have family or whose families are unable to take care of them at home. The staff and other residents become their family.
Due to the many ageing residents and the loss of financial supporters within families, we are constantly short of cash and have to raise funds to take care of them. We are grateful for any donation!
