Panthera Africa

Panthera Africa is an award-winning ethical and responsible tourist attraction in Stanford, Western Cape. We offer a forever home to rescued big cats, including lions, tigers, leopards, cheetah, and caracals.

We are a true sanctuary which means no breeding, no trading, and no interaction. The animals' welfare is put first and at Panthera Africa they are able to live out the rest of their lives in dignity and peace, and with the love and care that they deserve.

We offer educational visits and volunteering opportunities to the public to educate them about big cats and inform them about what is really happening in the captive lion breeding industry.
