For millennia, people have walked or marched in protest and in order to make positive change happen. In the same vein, “1,000,000 Footprints to Save Africa” aims to gain the participation of every youth throughout the world in a SYMBOLIC WALK to highlight the plight of Africa’s wildlife heritage and voice their determination to save Africa, by placing their footprints on lengths of cloth for the world to see.
We are inviting all institutions across the globe whose major focus is education, social upliftment, sport and the creative arts that involve children and the youth to become involved. These institutions include all academic schools, tertiary education facilities, youth groups, dance, arts and sporting bodies. Children will place their footprints, together with those of their peers, onto fabric cloth together with the names, countries represented and institution.
