Est. in 1961, we recognize and acknowledge the impact and effects of unemployment and poverty in our community and country as a whole.
We focus on redistributing, diverting and reworking surplus food into healthy, nutritious, balanced meals which are delivered to our 4 main focus groups, namely:
1)UNEMPLOYED|HOMELESS|DISPLACED:
We provide soup and bread to+/- 280 people 5 times per week at our center.
2) VULNERABLE/DEPRIVED CHILDREN: We provide food and care and support at our center for children who do not attend school and otherwise children with families in need.
2) ELDERLY|PENSIONERS:
We deliver cooked meals to our beneficiares on a daily basis.
3) CHRONICALLY ILL:
We provide food parcels and meals to chronically ill people and people who suffer from drug and alcohol dependencies.
