The Maphalane Disability Trust was instituted in 2005, wherein the focus was to develop the disabled communities in Education issues, Health matters, Infrastructure, Welfare and Humanitarian and Economic Development Activities. The work done by the Trust to date is just over R78 million rand and it has benefited our community by advancing them into better opportunities due to the mobility granted. The Provincial Government and other partners in the mining industry has also partnered with the Trust and this has seen a greater delivery of quality and sustainable programs in our communities
