Director and Founder of Luvuyo Centre for Early Childhood Development and Care was born in 1985. Abandoned at birth and left at a hospital in Port Elizabeth with a fictitious name, Lizo Tom, so his birth mother could not be traced. Lizo found his fate when he was moved to a childrenaEUR(TM)s Home in Mamelodi, where he thrived in a stable home environment surrounded by love and support by his house mother and siblings.
Since leaving the ChildrenaEUR(TM)s home in Mamelodi, Lizo has excelled in his chosen career as a fundraiser and he wants to ensure that all children can learn and grow, no matter what their circumstances.
Lizo will follow the same concept that he experienced growing up at an orphanage and ensure that disadvantaged children that are enrolled at the Centre are provided with love, care and education in a child friendly environment, thus providing them with the best possible start in life.
