AREA OF WORK : MANGAUNG,BOPHELONG,TURFLAAGTE,FREEDOM SQR, PETERSWARTS, BERGMAN SQR, IPOPENG, KHOTSONG,PHASE 5, PHASE 4, PHASE 3, MAFORA, PHELINDABA ,ROCKLANDS AND MOTSHABI SQR,BOTSHABELO,THABA NCHU, DEWETSDORP, REDDERSBURG, LADYBRAND, ODENDALSRUS AND WELKOM

These communities where formed in the 1990’s as informal settlements they have developed in the past 20 years to semi-rural townships. The problem with these areas is that both the government and community where primarily focused on developing the housing and schooling infrastructures, thus they neglected to improve and rectify general social ills. Hence these particular communities are the most affected when it comes to crime, gangsterism and unplanned teenage pregnancies. And in the city of MANGAUNG this area is where 80% of the disadvantaged and impoverished girls between the ages of 16 and 30 fall pregnant before or during matric or just after they finish school, this is hugely problematic as they don’t return to schooling completely
