Lightning 30 Foundations strives to raise funds in order to educate people in South Africa and Africa on the risks of lightning and teaching them to be safe.

Why We Do It
Lightning 30 Foundation believes that every death or injury caused by lightning is devastating and can be prevented through proper education on the risks of lightning.

Foundation Mission

Lightning 30 Foundation’s mission is to find practical ways to protect people against lightning to avoid and reduce injuries and deaths in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

This is done through:
Lightning Safety Awareness Education
Lightning Warning Systems
Lightning Safe Shelters
Lightning Trauma Support Counselling
