Lettie Fouché School accommodates 277 learners who have severe intellectual disabilities from the ages of 4 up to 18 years. The school serves the greater Bloemfontein area, the Free State, neighbouring provinces and rural areas. Our learners may suffer from additional disabilities which include: Autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, syndromes (e.g. Down syndrome) and behavioural problems. Lettie Fouché is a multi-racial and multi-cultural school which strives to develop each learner to his/her full potential. The school offers a wide range of support services to our learners consisting of nursing care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and social services. As a registered welfare organization, Lettie Fouché School also provides in the basic needs of living of our very needy learners.
