Lechabile Aids Awareness Centre

Lechabile started in 2004as a Support Group. The core objective was;
1. To provide spiritual & moral support and to HIV survivors.
2. To help victims and families fight stigma by providing counseling on a continuous basis.
Later in 2005 we realized that our goal has been accomplished and therefore resolved to register as an independent NPO > Core objective; Reaching out and educating the society about HIV/AIDS and related diseases. Our area of operation is Senekal & Marquard in Sesotho municipality in Thabo Mofutsanyane District, Free State Province (R.S.A). We have 10 field health care workers, 7 counselors; one of them is also a field care worker, 1 I-Act coordinator, 5 Staff, 1 Professional nurse and 1 general worker.
