The Leaders Who Dare to Dream Foundation was established in 2011 by two-time world dance Champion Paul Modjadji, with the intent of empowering youth in South African townships through various arts disciplines and leadership skills.
The Foundation offers free drama, musical theatre, dance, singing and leadership programmes to disadvantaged youth in South African townships. The flagship programmes are the weekly dance classes, the annual Dare to Dream Art workshops where the foundation invites leaders in the arts to host workshops on musical theatre, acting, singing, film directing etc. for the youth during school holidays, the Dare to Read programme which is aimed at fostering a culture of reading amongst the youth and most recently, the launch of the junior ballet classes, introduced with the objective of teaching the foundation of classical dance in order to prepare talent for a successful career in the arts and dancing in particular.
