Kwa.mama invites unemployed residents of Shakashead to contribute working hours at the Care Centre. These hours are rewarded with a token for every 3 hours of service. The tokens are redeemed in the token shop that is stocked with every crumb the Volunteers are able to collect. We collect recycled clothing, toys, books, linen, household goodies and anything that still has use left in it.
Taking care of 200 toddlers daily takes a team of 25 to 30 working Kwa.Mama Members. The system of contribute and benefit creates many worthy oppertunities for Members to escape the mindset of hopelessness!
