Kitty & Puppy Haven

Kitty & Puppy Haven is a rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing centre that helps injured, traumatised and abused animals. We also take unwanted animals from Townships and Squatter camps - predominantly in Alexandra Township. We have embarked on an education programme in Alexandra Township and its schools. We hold bi-monthly Dog days in the Township, offering all the residents free vaccinations, parasite control, rabies injections and primary health care. We have recently opened up a Community Veterinary Clinic at our sanctuary which allows free veterinary treatment and sterilisations to the disadvantaged.

All the animals at the sanctuary receive veterinary treatment for any illnesses, and they are vaccinated, de-wormed and sterilised. Once healthy - both mentally and physically - the animals are adopted out into loving homes. Kitty & Puppy Haven is a no-kill organisation.
