KCCA is an organization, sponsored partly by The Department of Social Development and LOTTO, that provides meals to the elderly of Krugersdorp.
Based on the income category of the member, KCCA provides high quality cooked meals from as little as R5.00 per person per day and even provides transport for those unable to travel to the Robert Palk centre.
The centre is fully equipped with an industrial kitchen, seating for 120 people, an informal lounge/tea room with DSTV and a modern boardroom/formal lounge.
The tearoom, main dining hall & kitchen, as well as the boardroom are now available for rent by local businesses and for special events.
Catering is available for all events hosted at KCCA.
KCCA has full-time staff, including a chef, kitchen staff, admin staff & management, as well as a Social Worker, a nursing sister & two caregivers, providing basic home-based care for bedridden elderly in Krugersdorp.
KCCA also has a weekly outreach, providing cooked meals in the Munsieville township, and a "Meals on wheels" service for the elderly of Krugersdorp.
