Imbeleko Foundation is dedicated to uplifting and empowering the rural Valley of a 1000 Hills, South Africa youth through holistic Afterschool Education Support and Scholarships for the vulnerable children in the community. Over and above the Scholarships and AfterSchool activities (homework club, girls and boys network and tutoring), Imbeleko’s initiative range from nutrition and food, healthcare, mentoring, sports; arts and culture – which provide the needed peripheral support to the children’s families to ensure their educational success.
Direct beneficiaries of this project are 455 children who enrolled in Imbeleko’s After-School Kids and Scholarship Programmes and indirect beneficiaries include the families of children enrolled who are benefitting from their children receiving high quality educational and life skills development opportunities, as well as a nutritious meal every week day.
