Intyatyambo Community Project

ICP focusses on Early Childhood Development, uplifting and training our staff and providing long-term employment opportunities for people from the local community.

We provide age appropriate pre-school education and day care for up to 83 children each day from the local community. Our children learn basic literacy, numeracy and conduct their classes in Xhosa and English to give them the best head start when they start school at the age of 6 years old.

ICP is based in the Site B area of Khayelitsha, an impoverished community, 25kms outside Cape Town, South Africa.

In February 2014 we will be opening our brand new, custom built pre-school which will allow us to extend our services to 100 children in the community, employ up to 10 more staff members and we will finally have a playground, jungle gym and vegetable garden to help the children play, grow and learn
