I Am SHE

I Am SHE's prime motto is to provide resources that will help keep girls in school in marginalised communities.
This organization was established to be a movement for young girls by women and true to this spirit the organisation was named I Am SHE (IAS). With an association to keeping girls in school, the sisters were cognizant of the plethora of problems plaguing mostly disadvantaged communities across South Africa.I Am SHE is based in the township of Mamelodi in the city of Pretoria. I Am SHE's prime motto is to provide resources that will help keep girls in school in marginalised communities. In 2018 three sisters of dynamic and like-minded got together to establish an organisation that prioritized young girls from different disadvantaged backgrounds in order to help them stay in school during their periods.
Considering their childhood years and teen years the three sisters grew up in tough conditions where resources to manage their menstruations were not prioritised.
