For children who are deemed to be at risk, we assist them through the system of child protection by doing Risk Assessment, prevention, and early intervention. We offer Family Preservation as well as psychosocial support. In critical cases we remove children and place them in our alternative care, KM Foundation children’s home.
With other child centered programs, we provide children with educational support, Life Skills Programmes, Psychosocial support and material support such as school uniforms, clothing, toiletries, food parcels and study material.
At 2 of our Drop-in centre’s and our Skill development community centre. we have over 900 children who attend the programs including the Afterschool program and Creative Art, as well, +- 450 children that we attend to at different that are far from our centres, all these children are provided with a meal per day from Monday to Saturday.
Our Substance Abuse Program serves mainly youth and children. Our community has been plagued by Substance abuse whereby children substitute boredom with substances that trigger a certain mental excitement.
