Helping Hands is an outreach initiative, caring for orphaned and vulnerable children who attend the ULOA Primary School near Monzi, in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa.
The school is located in a community which is severely afflicted by AIDS, unemployment and poverty. Many of the households are run by single parents, or even children. The number of orphaned and vulnerable children is ever increasing.
The Helping Hands Trust was registered in 2010, though the work started as early as 1999.
