The Friends of Valkenberg Trust works in conjunction with hospital staff to improve the quality of life of patients by providing various services to and activities for the patients, thereby supporting the process of recovery.

We support staff in the vital work they do, help create awareness of Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital and its work and to pro-actively eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness.
