Every Nation Tshwane

Every Nation is a worldwide family of churches and ministries divided into different regions. We as Every Nation Tshwane form part of the Every Nation Southern Africa region and are strategically positioned in the capital city of Tshwane. We are ONE church family with different congregations. We currently by God’s grace have planted 4 congregations and envision to reach every area as God lead us.

This is our story…

A team of 7 people from Every Nation Stellenbosch were sent to plant a church in Pretoria, led by Phillip and Rene Pretorius. As we arrived our team grew by another 13 people, who studied in Stellenbosch and were now working in Pretoria. We launched the church in January 2008 by planting 6 discipleship connect groups. Our Sundays were filled with laughter and fun as we gathered together celebrating what God had been doing in the lives of the people we reached out to. Our gathering soon evolved into a Sunday Worship Service that quickly outgrew our rental house where we lived. Three months later with 85 people we had to find a bigger venue to accommodate what God was doing, The Performer was our solution.

In November 2008, shortly after settling down, we had to move again into our third venue, as our morning service had grown to 150 people. In February 2009 we launched our first evening service and again we outgrew the Atrium Office Block where we gathered. God’s faithfulness lead us to greener pastures where we at last found Lynnwood Primary School, God’s answer to our need for stability. This is still one of the venues in which we currently meet today.

God granted us the privilege of sending out our first church plant at the end of 2009; a group of 12 people went to plant the Every Nation Bloemfontein. This church is still alive and well, learning and healthy and growing yearly. In 2010 Every Nation Centurion was planted and Every Nation Inner City followed shortly after that in the next year. Every Nation Willows was planted in February 2013, and is located on a property we call the Every Nation Centre. God provided us with the property and the finances to pay for it in full in a miraculous way and we see it as a training ground for many church plants to come in the future.

We feel privileged to be part of the amazing active Body of Christ in our city and together we seek the transformation of our broader community.

Every Nation Tshwane exists for the honour of God and our goal is not only to see the multitudes get saved and added to a spiritual family but that every one becomes a true disciple of Christ with a passion to take the Gospel to their family, friends and the nations of the world, bringing honour to God.
