The Joshua Trust mission is ‘making future leaders’ who are self-disciplined, have high moral values and leads ethically, thereby establishing worthy role-models for the youth of today and tomorrow. The leadership programmes that the Joshua Trust presents are primarily aimed at the Joshua Generation (20 to 40 year olds); training, enabling and developing young members of the Security Cluster (Police, Defence and Correctional Services), primarily from southern Africa, to become self-disciplined transformational servant leaders. Where there is capacity; these opportunities are also open to young people not from the security cluster. Many young people start their early work-life in the security cluster and then either make a career in one of these forces or follow a different career path. By The Joshua Trust focusing on this niche market it invests in the next generation leadership of the Security Cluster as well as business and industry.
