The Mission of The EMS Foundation is the advancement and protection of the rights and general welfare of, children, elderly persons, wild animals other vulnerable groups in South Africa and Africa, for the purpose of alleviating suffering, disrupting inequality in all of its forms, raising public awareness, empowering and providing dignity.
The Foundation is committed to addressing issues of social and environmental concern, in South Africa and regionally, particularly those that affect and have a major impact on the lives of marginalised beings in particular the aged, children and wild animals. This is important because there are no organisations or Foundations in South Africa or regionally that are making the linkages between human and other animal oppression and safeguarding their collective well-being. The need for this kind of synergy and intervention is growing and is critical particularly within the context of developing countries.
