Embo Nangoku Arts Movement

The objective of the trust is to meet the basic needs of the poorest communities in South Africa. The trust identifies one project per year and for 2011/2012 it was the Embo Nangoku Arts Movement. The principle is not only to donate money for a cause, but to identify a certain project and define specific goals that can be achieved within 1 year (Example: To build an orphanage, create an aftercare centre, build a kitchen in a school to provide lunch for the children, provide training programs to community leaders …) and follows through each step to realize it. The members of the trust also get actively involved in the achievement of those goals. Outside volunteers are also encouraged to participate. Each donor is welcome to visit the project and / or to get involved directly as a volunteer. The trust is run on a completely nonprofit basis.
