55% of South Africans live below the poverty line. Unemployment is rife and the majority of grade 4 pupils can't do basic calculations or read for meaning. We offer support and learning opportunities to our beneficiaries and partners who most need it.
Boost Africa's learning opportunities cater to the concerns of Dunoon and Joe Slovo residents. Due to the prevalence of sexual harassment and violence, individuals are hesitant to participate in activities beyond their homes. Therefore, our partnerships target underlying issues such as early childhood education, promoting gender equality among youth and adolescents, and increasing awareness about freedom of movement and the right to public spaces.
