Ambassadors Youth and Community Development

Mission: To provide opportunities for holistic Youth and Community Development in a non-threatening safe environment towards developing whole individuals that contribute positively to society as a whole.

Objectives:

• To inculcate a culture of integrity, and sound moral code.

• To stimulate Leadership and Community Development.

• Change the odds for high-potential youth from risk-filled environments, inspiring them to pursue personal success.

• Preparing them for leadership roles in Higher Education Institutions, work and their communities.

• Providing mentorship for youth in schools and in communities.

• Train and Equip school student leaders to maximize their potential.

• To use sport and creative arts as a means of mentoring and equipping youth and bringing about social change.

• To raise awareness amongst youth on environmental issues.

• To reduce the number of HIV infections and risk behaviour among youth through the promotion of health enhancing and purpose driven social norms.

• To mitigate the negative impact of inadequate education and HIV and AIDS on youth, orphans and vulnerable children, families and communities.

• To build social capital for sustainable community development within communities.
