Arebaokeng Hospice

Arebaokeng Hospice is a Non-Profit Organisation registered with Department of Social Development and was registered on 28 June 2000. The organisation provide Palliative Care which is defined by World Health Organisation as "an approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life-threatening illness, through prevention of suffering, the early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psychosocial and spiritual"

The organisation was established in response to rising rate of of HIV/AIDS and cancer population in Tembisa and surrounding areas. We provide the following services:
- Primary Health Care
- Palliative Care
- Home Based Care
