Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia. Dementia is a collective name for conditions in which progressive degeneration of the brain affects memory, thinking, behaviour and emotion.
Alzheimer's SA was founded in 1985 and is a non-profit organisation managed by a national executive council. It is the South African representative of Alzheimer's Disease International
