This Foundation addresses poverty and chronic unemployment in South Africa by helping people create their own livelihoods.
Where jobs are scarce, a micro-enterprise can be the difference between hope and destitution for a family. The Foundation provides training opportunities in various skills, such as welding, sewing, hair dressing, electricity and plumbing qualifications. The North Foundation, in partnership with other entities, creates a platform for students to start up their small businesses in a safe and secure environment.
