7th Heaven Children's Haven

Nelly Senong founded the Haven in 2002 to care for needy children and in 2009 a formal structure and support group was formed with the partnership of the Jeffreys Bay Baptist Church. The main object of the Haven is: to provide care and counselling of abandoned, abused, neglected, orphaned or homeless children. To provide a safe, disciplined and homely environment for the children taken into care and placed with the 7th Heaven Children's Haven, run on Christian principles and ethics and with the object of giving these children back their dignity and enabling them to see themselves as God sees them, as valuable members of society. Nelly is highly trained and has a calling and a gifting to work with children, which has seen many lives turned around. The children's needs are cared for in every way possible, health, development, occupational therapy, education, spiritual and mental health. Funding is short and we have needs in the areas of grocery and living cost sponsorship for our children.
