Friends of the Johannesburg Art Gallery

The Friends support the gallery by joining ordinary people to be members of the organisation, that is how people get to support the gallery in the exhibitions and other events. Members pay a subscription fee of R50 for pensioners and students, R100 for individuals, R150 for family, R250 for groups, R2000 for corporate, R3000 for benefactor, R10000 for patrons. This amount is paid annually.

We also have two art auctions a year, which the art works are donated by the artists that support us. The publications that are released by the gallery are sold at the gallery shop together with the t-shirts and some accessories.
